Display specific FAQs on specific product page (only Online Store 2.0)

This feature is only available for Online Store 2.0 compatible themes so please make sure your theme is compatible. If you're using Online Store 1.0 theme but still want to use this feature, please contact us.

If you don't create any FAQ accordion yet, please check this guide first.

Open Settings > Custom data > Products. You can also use this link to directly access it.

Click on Add definition

For the "Name", enter "FAQ Accordion ID" or any name you want.

For the metafield type, select Single-line text

It should look like the screenshot below

Make sure to save

Once your metafield is created, open the product for which you want to show FAQs in the Shopify admin, and scroll down to the bottom of the page until you see the "Metafields" box.

You can then click on the "FAQ Accordion ID" metafield and paste Accordion ID from accordion editor page

Open Online store > Themes > click on Customize:

In the top page menu, select your product template:

Click + Add section > search Simesy FAQ > select Simesy FAQ from the list

Click on small icon at the top of Widget ID input.

After that, select FAQ Accordion ID (the value of Name field from Step 2) from the list.

Your FAQ accordion will be displayed on the preview

Click Save on the top page bar
